Shyam is a technology executive with three decades of experience delivering complex large-scale technology and software solutions, as well as digitally led transformations to businesses across multiple industries. He currently serves as SVP & CDIO with PepsiCo North America. In this role, Shyam leads and supports all aspects of the digital/IT function for the North American businesses including digital strategy, architecture, software development/integration and delivery, data and analytics, automation and AI, cyber and operational security, and infrastructure/work-place services. Prior to this role, Shyam served as the CIO for PepsiCo Foods as well as global CTO. Prior to PepsiCo, he was with AT&T where he held several leadership positions in IT. Most recently at AT&T, as VP Digital Experience and eCommerce, he managed all aspects of AT&T’s digital experience platforms and online back-office operations. He was also a key leader and champion driving the shift to digital, self-service, and effortless omni-channel experiences. Prior to AT&T, Shyam held technology leadership roles at Deloitte Consulting, LG&E Energy Marketing, and Corning Communications. Shyam holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and dual master’s degrees in industrial engineering and information systems. He resides in Dallas with his wife, Priya, and their adorable Dalmatian, Blaze. They have two children, Raag and Laya. In his free time, Shyam enjoys golfing, cycling, pickleball, snow skiing, and watching NFL games.
